The Foundation
"I created VITA-PCOS to heal myself. As someone who has suffered from relentless PCOS symptoms since puberty, I know firsthand how difficult and daunting this diagnosis can be. I put these supplements into my own body every single day, so I need them to be effective, safe, and reliable. In rejuvenating my own health, I created a lasting solution for others who share my same PCOS struggles."
VITA-PCOS is the brainchild of PCOS Registered Dietitian Cory Ruth, MS, RDN - a leading expert in the PCOS field and fellow PCOS warrior with specialities in endocrinology, weight management, and infertility. Cory is constantly searching for better, more advanced PCOS management tactics, and believes in the power of science-backed, evidence-based treatments.
My Inspiration
After years of work in busy, understaffed hospitals and clinics, Cory was shocked at the complete lack of alternative healing modalities for this diagnosis. Determined to ensure higher quality, more natural, and less costly PCOS care options for women with this condition, Cory forged a path down R&D to develop VITA-PCOS. She spearheaded the PCOS “food is medicine” movement, launching VITA-PCOS in 2021 with a mission to expand access to these simple tools that hold the power to radically transform health and PCOS symptoms for everyone who struggles.
Cory has studied with and worked under some of the most brilliant well-known medical doctors and Registered Dietitians in the state of California, and obtained her Master of Science degree with honors. She has worked her way up in a variety of hospitals, women’s health clinics, and large scale commercial kitchens to build on her knowledge and accomplishments within nutritional science, patient-centered care, and food safety. Her private practice continues to thrive, where she can offer and extend care to women with PCOS from all walks of life.
